Synthesizer Museum Berlin

Kreuzberg (second floor, broken iron-chain door) · Berlin
— THE ONE PIECE
Brian Eno & Kraftwerk's original synth rigs
1970s–2000s electronic music pioneers

Pushed open the broken iron-chain door and walked into a warm, intimate room on the second floor. 50+ legendary synthesizers from the 1970s to 2000s — Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Wendy Carlos, Isao Tomita. Not a museum you observe from a distance. A playable playground where your fingertips touch the very instruments that made half the records in your headphones.

Hakone Open-Air Sculpture Museum

Ninotaira · Hakone
— THE ONE PIECE
Walking through Andy Goldsworthy, surrounded by old Picasso
Andy Goldsworthy · Picasso

The sculpture museum should open outdoors. Like walking into a world Goldsworthy had built with his hands. And it had to be old Picasso — the double authority of being surrounded by land art and modernist presence at once.
